Workshop with The Cultural Rucksack (Den kulturelle skolesekken). The workshop was organized by Kunst Rett Vest in 2019.

How to imagine a place only by listening to the sounds from a place?

​

The students were asked to imagine the city of Adana in Turkey based on recordings from my travels to the city in 2018. The workshop had three stations, (1) drawing the structure of the city, (2) drawing the people, animals and objects inhabiting the city, and (3) writing stories with the city as a backdrop.

The projects questions how the perception of places and people are shaped in the mind of children.
